Nepenthes dubia is a striking and unusual species, native to Sumatra. It's rare in cultivation, and is highly sought-after by collectors.
N. dubia produces thick, mucilaginous, pitcher liquid, similar to its close relative N. inermis. The pitchers of N. dubia are thought to function not only as pitfall traps but also as flypaper traps. The sticky inner walls of the pitcher capture flying insects above the surface of the pitcher fluid.
We're offering seedlings germinated and grown by us, each genetically unique.
Seedlings for sale are ~5cm(2″) across.
