A completely stunning pitcher plant, S. flava var. rubricorpora, MK F124 from Don Schnell is probably our favourite S. flava clone at the nursery. In full-sun the tall pitchers turn a fantastic deep burgundy colour that’s offset by a heavily red-veined interior which produces copious nectar that wasps find irresistible. Prized for it's super dark elegant pitchers and breeding potential this clone grows and divides more slowly than most Sarracenia so patience and lots of sun are a must!
Truly one of the absolute standout Sarracenia in the nursery, S. flava var. rubricorpora, MK F124 from Don Schnell is relatively slow to divide and may not be available again for some time.
Plants for sale are single growth point plants, divided from our mother plants in early Spring 2024.
