Needless to say Venus flytrap 'Freaky Star' takes bizarre trap mutations to whole other level! 'Freaky Star' named such because of the highly unusual serrated "wings" on its trap margins resembling an exploding star. The traps can also feature a double set teeth one on the outer edge of the traps and a second set on the inner edge. A super rare and unique flytrap!
Originating in the Netherlands, 'Freaky Star' like many heavily mutated flytraps stays relatively small though certainly by no means tiny. It also tends to produce meandering leaves and petioles that only enhance this flytraps totally bizarre appearance.
